Who we are

Our website address is https://aideenmonaghan.com.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

Our contact form requests your name and email address. This is so that we can communicate with you. The record of these is kept indefinitely for the records of our website and business. You may of course request a copy of these here. If you request a deletion, we will do so in compliance with the GDPR requirements. If we delete all of your information, we will send you a last email letting you know that we are doing so and then you will not hear from us again as we will no longer have the information to do so.

Cookies

WordPress, on which our website is based, uses cookies for two purposes:

  1. Registered members need a cookie to be able to log in. This is ‘strictly necessary’ as WordPress won’t work without it.
  2. Visitors who leave a comment on a blog post will also have a cookie set on their computer. This is not “strictly necessary” as it’s a user preference.

Neither of these apply to this website.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

We also send a modified version of your IP to our tracking websites. The information will not identify individuals, but will give us an idea of how many visitors we get and approximately where they are. There is no personal information stored in the cookie.

Your contact information

The only contact information this website has for you is what you send to us via email. This is retained as long as we need to in order to deal with your issue and will be kept indefinitely for our business. It will not be shared with third parties without your consent unless required by law to do so.

How we protect your data

This website is protected at server level by our hosts and at website level by our security software and the way we run and maintain our website.

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the event that our security measures are breached, we will notify all concerned parties as soon as possible.
