A limited edition print from an original oil painting by Irish contemporary artist Aideen Monaghan. A prolific and skillful oil painter, Aideen is inspired by the rural setting of her studio in the fields of Athenry. The artist loves to describe everyday events in a sensitive extraordinary way. In this limited edition print, two young children encounter a new born calf on their grandparent’s farm. We cannot see their faces but the viewer gets a sense that the children are mesmerised by this example of new life.
