Doolin is well known to locals and tourists as a busy village on the wild Atlantic way. It is a crossing point for the ferry to the Aran islands and the Burren surrounds it.
Just above the village with its colourful shops and houses sits this ruined homestead. Nature is reclaiming it as the brambles and nettles stretch across its outer walls.
However this accordion greeting card also depicts the remains of the skilled construction of this home who’s inhabitants have long since left.
